Call out for volunteers for P.I.S.C.E.S workshops

P.I.S.C.E.S. Workshops

Theatremaker John Rogers is looking for volunteers to participate in a series of weekly workshops in the development of his new show P.I.S.C.E.S. that premiers at this year’s Galway Theatre Festival in May. P.I.S.C.E.S. – Potential Impact on Society of Contact from Extraterrestrial Species – is a one-man science fiction show that makes strong use audience-interaction. “I’m looking for fundraisers of a different sort,” says Rogers. “Rather than giving me money, I am instead asking you for your time.” The workshops will run every Thursday on the run up to the show’s opening in May. The first workshop takes place at the Galway 2020 Hub in the Cornstore Thursday 31st March at 2pm. P.I.S.C.E.S. runs 3rd to 5th May at 7pm in the Mick Lally Theatre as part of Galway Theatre Festival 2016. For more info on P.I.S.C.E.S. see here. If you wish to take part in a workshop you can email John at john@johnrogerstheatre.com. And don’t forget you can get your tickets (including super cheap early bird price of €8!) for P.I.S.C.E.S. here!
